Our History… The Beginning

DFWPRODJS.COM was founded in August of 2011 as a division of PTP Entertainment LLC. PTP Entertainment is an event design and production company that also offers graphics and web design, photography and videography as well as photo and video booths. The founder of the company, James “Magnificent” Hall, decided that a specialized division for schools and youth events should be created.

As demand for entertainment and production services grew for PTP Entertainment, a separate division was needed to handle the special needs of schools and youth events. James Hall, along with a few other valuable contributors created DFWPRODJS.COM. This division would have an entirely new structure, business plan and marketing strategies to appeal to the marketplace.

Considering the size of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, demand grew so quickly that DPD had to contract more people. There are times when we are servicing up to 4 events in one night. Most prom seasons see in excess of 20 proms serviced within an 8-10 week period. With an amazing roster of talent, DPD is blazing a trail in the Metroplex unseen before.

DJ A1 is our Director of Production and is one of the most talented DJs in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. In this division of the company his main specialty is event production, lighting design and logistics.
