That’s right, DPD is giving back to the community in a multitude of ways! We are now partnering up with the good people at In-Spire to train middle school students in DISD how to deejay.
Sponsored in part by one of DISD’s biggest after-school enrichment partners, Big Thought, this initiative was created at the requests of 2 of DISD’s middle schools. Students today are fast-paced and have a plethora of options when it comes to careers in the marketplace.
Our very own DJ Magno will spearhead the training and had to write a formal curriculum for the sessions. The students will be trained on various disc jockey, lighting and emcee skills. At the end of the training there will be a culmination event that will feature the skills and talents of the students!
